The full range of iPhone 15 configurations is exposed

Hispider news: Apple's annual iPhone event is expected to take place this year on Tuesday, September 12 or Wednesday, September 13. As is Apple's custom, pre-orders for the new iPhone will open a few days later on Friday, September 15, and will be released a week later on September 22.

Like the 14 series, the iPhone 15 series still offers four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Let's take a look at the changes for these four models.

First up is the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will get the following upgrades:

— A17 chip, the first 3nm processor in smartphones.

— The "Action button," a programmable button that replaces the mute switch.

— Lighter titanium frame instead of stainless steel.

— The USB-C charging port replaces the Lighting port.

— Increased battery capacity, improved life, faster charging.

— Stealth zoom lens (iPhone 15 Pro Max only).

— New crimson color scheme.

— Higher capacity storage option (1TB).

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have the following changes:

— The same A16 chip as the iPhone 14 Pro.

— The same "Smart Island" as the iPhone 14 Pro.

— Rear main camera upgraded to 48 megapixels.

— Frosted glass back with slightly curved edges.

— A new color scheme similar to cyan.

— No price increases, expected to start at $799 and remain unchanged at $899.
